Have you heard the Ronan Keating song words "If Tomorrow never comes, would she know how much I loved her?" Yes, it's about a couple, but the analogy got me thinking. If I was suddenly not here, what would I want my daughter (and my sons, but more specifically my daughter,) to know? And the 1 thing (obviously, other than a deep rooted belief and trust in God,) that I believe can make a massive difference to every aspect of her life is this….

YOU ARE ENOUGH!

My Ella, God gave me only 1 of you. He gave me 1 because He knew you would be enough. You would be enough for me, for our family and in fact for this world.

If there is only 1 thing you ever realise, it is this. YOU ARE ENOUGH. You are enough, today, tomorrow, in 20 years time. You are enough for your family, your husband, your children and the entire world. You are enough for any and every thing that you set out to do for yourself or for others.

You have watched your mum struggle with this, and I am truly sorry, but I hope this will some day in some way work in your favour. I hope you come to realise just how enough you truly are. I hope that as you grow, so too will this ability to know your worth and feel comfortable in it. I hope you feel it in your core, believe it in your heart and let it drive you to become a confident, inspiring, empathetic, generous, loving and Godly woman.

But I know, that this cannot be done alone in our own power. I know that the world will try to teach you otherwise and take every chance to make you question yourself. So, I pray that God will overshadow your self doubts so brilliantly and with so much love and reassurance, that you never question why you are here, or who made you. I pray that you will always know that you have a purpose; that God saw a need for the exact person you are in this world, and so He made you.

Because, no matter what you grow to be, you are still now and always will be my and your daddy’s princess. You are our gift of pink bows, sparkles, twirls and colour. And I will always be so grateful for you. But so much more than that, you are God's princess, a daughter of The King. You are a most precious, rare, worth more than His own life; daughter.
